Quincy Kittle (she/her) is the owner of Blooming Doula Care and is passionate about empowering people to make decisions that are right for them and their family. Quincy is a pregnancy-loss / abortion doula and a birth doula. Quincy’s own experience with pregnancy-loss inspired her to serve others in all phases of pregnancy, including birth and loss. Quincy provides emotional and physical care to pregnant people and any partners to help grow a beautiful birth experience. Quincy loves all things related to the human body and is a Prenatal Yoga Instructor. Quincy’s practice is centered on evidence-based information, client empowerment, and client advocacy. Her work aims to uphold the diversity of experience regarding pregnancy and is rooted in SisterSong’s definition of Reproductive Justice regarding bodily autonomy and access to sustainable and healthy resources. Quincy is committed to anti-racism and accessibility practices in her work. Her goals are to empower, inspire, and connect pregnant people to needed resources and build stronger, more resilient communities.
Quincy completed her birth doula training with Dona International and her certification as a pregnancy-loss doula through the Lunar Doula Collective. Quincy is also a 500 hour Registered Yoga Instructor and an Aerial Yoga Instructor. Quincy has certifications in Mental Health First Aid, CPR, and trauma-informed Yoga. Quincy offers services in English and Spanish.
Quincy completed her B.A. at Michigan State University in Comparative Cultures and Politics. Quincy has a love of caffeine, chocolate, plants, and books. Quincy lives in Lansing, MI with her partner, two cats, and dog.
