Olivia Wieda is a postpartum doula with a passion for working with growing families. Throughout years of working as an infant nanny, she encountered many parents who said they felt overwhelmed and unsupported in the first few months with their new baby. In addition, Olivia’s education in maternal and infant psychology has taught her the importance of postpartum support for maternal mental health and infant bonding. Because of these experiences, she decided to become a doula and give families the care they want and deserve.
Olivia has completed postpartum doula training through DONA and Childbirth International in order to bring the highest quality of support to the families she serves. Her services include physical and emotional support after birth including breastfeeding help, facilitation of bonding, and giving parents a much needed break. She helps new parents develop the skills to care for their newborn and gives evidence based information on a range of topics regarding their new baby. Olivia also provides sibling care and basic household support, as well as referrals to community resources.
Each family is different, with a unique set of needs. Olivia is dedicated to helping parents integrate the new baby into their family and meet their specific goals. She will provide the knowledge and support to help families find confidence and peace in the postpartum period.
