Abigail Cunningham is the owner of Liberating Birth Services. Ever since witnessing the birth of her little sister at only 8 years old, she has been amazed by the process of pregnancy and birth and everything that comes along with it.
As a biracial woman and a part of the LGBTQIA+ community, Abigail is passionate about supporting all individuals, especially those of minority groups. As a doula, she finds it most important for the person giving birth to have their wishes respected and their voices lifted up. Her goal is to educate and support her clients throughout their journey of pregnancy, birth, and early parenthood.
After completing her doula training in January of 2021, Abigail realized that she wanted to go even further in the birthing world. She will be starting nursing school in the fall of 2023 at Davenport University in Lansing with hopes of becoming a Labor and Delivery nurse and one day a nurse midwife.
