Nurture and Connect
Introducing Julia, the heart and soul behind Nurture and Connect, a certified postpartum
doula serving Ingham, Eaton, and Clinton. Passionate about supporting new mothers
and families in the precious weeks following birth, Julia is currently focused on serving
patients with active Michigan Medicaid. With a deep understanding of the need for
assistance and self-care during this significant time in life, Julia brings first-hand
experience as a mother of four and a grandmother of five to her practice.
In addition to her role as a certified postpartum doula, Julia is also a certified community
health worker. Leveraging this additional certification, she stands ready to assist with
health advocacy and connect her clients with vital community resources. From securing
baby items, personal essentials, diapers, and clothing, to providing access to food
resources and utility assistance, Julia is committed to being a comprehensive support
system for new families.
Certified with Birthworks International, Julia has undergone specialized training to
ensure she can provide the highest quality support to her clients.
